360 Tactical teaches defensive pistol training for Miami, Florida. Defensive pistol work at our outdoor Homestead range — the training that turns a person who can hit a target into a person who can actually use a firearm defensively. $200 per person, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our Intermediate Course requires the Introductory Course first; the Advanced Course requires both. Training runs at our outdoor Homestead range, roughly a 45-minute drive south, traffic depending from Miami. Call 786-314-0471 to get on the next session.
Why Miami Students Take This Course
Most Miami students arrive here after realizing that shooting accurately at a static target and being able to defend yourself are different skills. This is the class where the gap closes — drawing from concealment under a t-shirt, moving, reloading, and shooting from behind cover.
Miami is where the school is based and where most of our students live. It is also a city with its own particular set of realities: there is no jacket season, a large share of the population thinks in Spanish, and the difference between a safe neighborhood and a rough one can be four blocks.
All of that shapes how we teach. Concealment under a t-shirt rather than a coat. Instruction in the language you actually think in. Training outdoors in real heat rather than an air-conditioned bay.
What the Course Covers
- Drawing from the holster and from concealment
- Tactical reloads and speed reloads
- Clearing malfunctions under time pressure

- Using cover and moving between positions
- Multiple-target transitions and accountability
- Shooting with a partner and communicating while you do it
Where and When
Our outdoor Homestead range · 4 hours (1 PM – 5 PM).
From Miami it is roughly a 45-minute drive south, traffic depending. Give yourself margin: classes start on time and the safety briefing is not something you can join halfway through.
We train outdoors deliberately. An outdoor range lets us teach drawing from a holster, moving between positions, shooting from behind cover, and working after dark — almost no indoor range in Miami-Dade permits any of it. More about the range.
