Training for Miami

Miami is where the school is based and where most of our students live. It is also a city with its own particular set of realities: there is no jacket season, a large share of the population thinks in Spanish, and the difference between a safe neighborhood and a rough one can be four blocks.

All of that shapes how we teach. Concealment under a t-shirt rather than a coat. Instruction in the language you actually think in. Training outdoors in real heat rather than an air-conditioned bay.

Where Your Training Happens

Live fire — Homestead. Our outdoor range, roughly a 45-minute drive south, traffic depending from Miami. Beginner through advanced pistol, tactical carbine, low-light, ladies-only and private sessions. More.

Force on force — Hialeah. Mondays 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, about 20 minutes north from Miami. All protective gear and training firearms provided. More.

Concealed carry class. A two-hour classroom course with no range component, so we can teach it privately or for a group at your location in Miami. Public classes run at South Florida gun shows — see dates.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you want to carry legally: the $50 concealed carry class.

If you want to learn to shoot: the $175 first-time shooter class. No experience, no firearm needed.

If you already carry and have never trained under pressure: force-on-force, from $60 on a Monday night.

Still unsure? Call and describe what you want to be able to do. We will tell you which class you actually need, not the most expensive one.
