Why Kendall Students Take This Course
Kendall couples book private sessions more than any other group we train, and it makes sense: you can work on a household plan together, at your own pace, without an audience and without one of you waiting while the other catches up.
Kendall is the closest major community to our Homestead range — a straight run south on the Turnpike or US-1 — which makes it the easiest place in the county to actually get live-fire training done.
It is also largely families and long-term residents, and the questions we hear from Kendall are consistent: someone wants to protect the house, there are kids in it, and usually only one adult has ever handled a firearm.

Where and When
Our outdoor Homestead range · Typically 2–4 hours.
From Kendall it is a short drive south — the shortest of any major community in the county. Give yourself margin: classes start on time and the safety briefing is not something you can join halfway through.
We train outdoors deliberately. An outdoor range lets us teach drawing from a holster, moving between positions, shooting from behind cover, and working after dark — almost no indoor range in Miami-Dade permits any of it. More about the range.
