Training for Kendall

Kendall is the closest major community to the Homestead Training Center — a straight run south on the Turnpike or US-1 — which makes it the easiest place in the county to actually get live-fire training done.

It is also largely families and long-term residents, and the questions we hear from Kendall are consistent: someone wants to protect the house, there are kids in it, and usually only one adult has ever handled a firearm.

Where Your Training Happens

The Homestead Training Center — the outdoor range where all of our courses are held, a short drive south — the shortest of any major community in the county from Kendall. Beginner through advanced pistol, tactical carbine, low-light, ladies-only and private sessions run 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. More about the range.

Bring your own firearm. We do not rent firearms — every student supplies their own firearm and ammunition. If you have not bought one yet, call before you book and we will talk through what to look for.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you want to learn to shoot: the $175 first-time shooter class. No experience needed — bring your own firearm.

If you already own a firearm and have never trained with it: defensive pistol training, $200.

Still unsure? Call and describe what you want to be able to do. We will tell you which class you actually need, not the most expensive one.
